Our Projects

Our aim with this project is to alleviate hunger and poverty by being the missing link between people in need and the tons of nutritious food thrown away every day by the food industry.

By capturing all usable products that would otherwise end up as waste we immediately achieve a positive impact:

• On the environment by promoting recycling habits and reinforcing the importance of keeping our environment clean.
• On the economic development of the community by rescuing farmers’ produce we support agriculture in a broad sense, farming, and fishing.
• Local Economy Growth by creating New Jobs with a positive impact on the unemployment rate.
• Social wellbeing, by Getting People Involved: Being a VOLUNTEER increases your sense of belonging and social inclusion. Creates the foundations for healthy behaviors, enhances your relationships with others, gives you emotional literacy to accept and manage conflict without manipulation or coercion.

Our projects are based on the rights and freedoms outlined by The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Implementing our projects we aim to fulfill the educational needs of children and young people in need providing them with:

• The financial support required for the basic supplies and equipment for their studies.
• We also provide free basic breakfast for school students in their classrooms.
• Being of our main concern the gift of quality education and training, we have implemented a financial project providing schools with basic equipment and supplies.
• Moreover, the creation and enrichment of libraries have been always one of our priorities.
• Scholarships for outstanding students in rural areas are also included in our project.

On paper: 

• PSYCHOLOGICAL GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING for parents and students referring to the severe problem of bullying in schools and online.
• PSYCHOLOGICAL GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING for parents and students referring to all the rights and freedoms for a child or/and young person, in particular, because of their age, the special protection and supervision is essential when using the Internet.

Following the whole child approach, our projects achieve to have a positive impact in our community.

Our projects are outlined following the human rights to health, which stands for the right for all human beings to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, including access to all medical services, sanitation, adequate food, decent housing, healthy working conditions, and a clean environment.

By implementing our projects we aim to tackle real problems created by the financial crisis our community is going through.

• Providing Hospitals, Health Centres, Nursing Homes with financial support and Basic equipment and supplies including some basic medicines.
• Blood, Platelets, Plasma Donations on a regular basis.
• Cleaning and maintaining the gardens in Hospitals, Health Centres, and Nursing Homes. 

On paper:

• The implementation of a Mobile Unit for the radiation treatment for breast cancer with access to rural areas.
• PSYCHOLOGICAL GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING for patients affected with cancer and their families.

Implementing our projects we immediately achieve a positive impact on:

• The Economic development and social environment of the community by giving access to vulnerable groups to Healthcare services and centers.

Social wellbeing, by Getting People Involved: Being a VOLUNTEER increases your sense of belonging and social inclusion. Creates the foundations for healthy behaviors, enhances your relationships with others, gives you emotional literacy to accept and manage conflict without manipulation or coercion.

Our project is based on real problems created by the acute financial situation affecting the vulnerable groups of our community and by the influx of refugees and immigrants fleeing out of their countries seeking refuge in Greece.

We aim to alleviate poverty and to improve bad living conditions for the people in need: senior people, low or no income people, disabled people and refugees by providing:

• Financial Help with their home utility bills
• Financial Help with their home rent
• Clothing
• Household Goods
• Food Basket    

By implementing our project and protecting the vulnerable people of risk of health problems and/or eviction, we immediately achieve a very positive impact in:

• The social environment of the community by promoting empathy and solidarity.
• The economic environment of the community by tackling poverty and offering some of its members an improvement in their living conditions.
• Social wellbeing, by Getting People Involved: Being a VOLUNTEER increases your sense of belonging and social inclusion. Creates the foundations for healthy behaviors, enhances your relationships with others, gives you emotional literacy to accept and manage conflict without manipulation or coercion.

We believe in “A SOUND MIND IN A SOUND BODY” and following the Great Ancient Greek precepts of the Olympic Games,

• We financially support scholar and Multiethnic Sports Organizations
• Provide Sports Organizations with basic equipment supplies

Whit this project we aim to help children and young people through quality training to fulfill their dreams to become “CHAMPIONS” and especially to achieve social integration, creating a sense of belonging which promotes SUCCESS. 

Sustainable economic growth in a community is difficult to achieve without the full consideration of a Science, Technology, and Innovation Studies (STI) development.

This is the great motivation that drives Humanitarian Bank to contribute with scientific research and financial support to concrete topics closely linked to the development of the STI.

• Centre for Molecular Analysis and Research in Agrinio. Where through DNA analysis, the prognosis, diagnosis of cancer and other diseases is attained. It has already been awarded an international patent for the exact diagnosis of thyroid cancer avoiding pointless surgical operations.

• There are many kinds of renewable energy alternatives. Quite possibly, there are still other forms in the future that we have not discovered or understand. We provide and install solar, wind, biomass solutions to homes, hospitals & schools in a number of locations and in particular remote Greek islands.
